An Unreal Experience - Still reeling three days later
Westbound Train will never disappoint. Their energy combined with their music made it awesome for me, even though I only knew the popular songs! I hadn't known who they were, but they were incredible - such stage presence, and quite the talent! Their performance tugs at your heart strings in all of the right ways, and I left with a renewed sense of life that I didn't realize I really, really needed. Fitz and the Tantrums were nothing short of spectacular, if that word can even be justifiably used. The opener, Coin, were also SUCH an incredible stage presence, and they really knew how to put on a great show. After a rain delay, Westbound Train came out, and it was nothing short of spectacular. I've seen them once before, but each time they simply blow me away. They sound exactly like on the recording, but hearing it live just brings emotions up in you that really make you feel alive.
